In light of the recent developments around Covid-19, we wanted to keep you informed of the steps we are taking to protect both our community and our team.
We are continuing business as usual as much as possible but we are keeping a close eye on Government guidance. At the moment all staff are still working from our offices but we have systems in place to ensure that we can all work from home if this is necessitated.
We have a team of contractors who are continuing to carry out maintenance work in our managed properties at this time. We will be prioritising works in terms of urgency and if our team of contractors do develop symptoms and/or need to self-isolate you may experience delays in works being carried out. Please be patient and know that we will be working in your best interests at all times.
To report a repair you can do this online here: https://ethicallettings.tiltorigin.com/issue.
At this time we will not be carrying out any non-essential inspections of properties so as to protect our members of staff as well as the most vulnerable of our tenants.
If you are self-isolating already, are in one of the vulnerable groups recommended to self-isolate or develop symptoms that mean your household needs to self-isolate in the coming weeks then please let us know so that we can pop a note on our system.
Paying your rent and keeping a roof over your head should continue to be your number one priority. We understand that Covid-19 is having a huge effect on businesses and that you may experience unexpected changes to your working hours and pay. We are making it a priority to support and assist you in retaining your home. Please contact us immediately if you know that your Universal Credit or Housing Benefit is going to be affected. If you are not already claiming Universal Credit but find that you need to, then our team would be happy to guide you through this process. If your ability to pay your rent is affected please ensure you contact us urgently.
When you meet any members of our staff we will be operating with a no-touch policy (please don’t be offended when we don’t shake your hand) and will be following advice around hand washing and hygiene in accordance with Government guidelines.
If we are due to meet you, it is important that you notify us if you have experienced any Covid-19 symptoms so that we can ensure none of our community or staff are put at risk.
